I wish I could still hear you

I wish I could still hear your heart beating.

Many months without you

Have turned out to be

Excruciating

And I can still remember everything

The way you talked, the words you said.

And the way we both felt

In eachotherâ�™s arms

I never thought about it

But now thereâ�™s no doubt

How each mile apart

Could do us so much harmâ�¦

Every day, every minute, every hour,

I canâ�™t make it through the day

Go call me coward.

Too many places so little time

Iâ�™m lost inside myself

And I donâ�™t know what Iâ�™m trying to find.

If only I could feel your warmth,

And see you smile,

Then maybe I wouldnâ�™t suffer

But just for a while.

I tried to forget you

And go on with my life

But in the end,

It doesnâ�™t feel right.

I canâ�™t forgive myself for thinking of you

Even though,

Thatâ�™s the only thing I can do.

Maybe itâ�™d be better to know you still care,

To be by my side, to be still there.

Your words are cold,

And your feelings are plain

And I question now

But it wonâ�™t ever be the same.

I guess the miles are just throwing us apart,

And thereâ�™s no point now, to go and restart,

Whatâ�™s said and done,

That we canâ�™t change,

I donâ�™t think it will ever be the same.
